Letitia Wright, Ella Eyre and Alexander Armstrong top the bill over an inspiring long weekend

Make the Future Live is returning to London, with a fantastic free programme of events – celebrating creativity, innovation and future energy solutions.

The four-day festival, hosted by Shell, will see British breakout actress Letitia Wright open the event with an exciting flag off ceremony, while TV favourite Alexander Armstrong will chair a live Friday night podcast for over 18s on ‘The Rise of the Smart City: Urban Wonderland or Fools’ Paradise’. Chart-topper Ella Eyre and R’n’B legend Lemar are also set to rock Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park with buzzing live performances, and the iconic Shell Eco-marathon returns, where you can watch the next generation of ultra-energy-efficient cars in thrilling competition.

Over a weekend of fun, you can discover fresh innovations that are set to shape the future of energy, as well as try out cutting-edge gaming, and experience the latest in VR, AI and AR. There will also be tasty street food to fuel your action-packed weekend, and mind-boggling science demos. Everyone’s welcome, so come along and find out how you can help to #makethefuture!
