UNDR LNDN, the film collective who wowed audiences in venues across London, from Whirled Cinema to Battersea Arts Centre - BAC, this year are back with their first event of the autumn. Taking place at Genesis Cinema Saturday 6th October, UNDRCONSTRUCTION will be a dazzling showcase of some of the best emerging artists from the capital’s underground creative scene.
Known for curating some of the most exciting talent in London’s buzzing film scene including Tim Lamba (featured on shortoftheweek) and the award winning Teng Teng Films, UNDRCONSTRUCTION sees UNDRLNDN branch out beyond film to celebrating music and art within the city.
DJ Lashawna Rose from Reprezent Radio and Robert Bruce from Capital XTRA will rub shoulders with visual artist Abondance (featured on iD and Babyface), filmmaker IGGY LDN (who was included in the Dazed 100 list for 2018), model Sonny Turner (featured on Glamour Magazine & Elle), spoken word artist Russeni, singer Diamantina and more. If you have even a passing interest in the underground talent being nurtured in the capital right now, this is the one arts showcase you can’t afford to miss.
There will be some short film screenings, art exhibited, live music performances, several Q&As to inform and inspire as well as an afterparty soundtracked by Lashawna Rose!
