In celebration of Mickey Mouse’s 90th anniversary, Disney is launching a UK exhibition, showcasing a collection of brand new Mickey-inspired artworks, imagined and created by some of the rising stars of the UK’s art scene.

The exhibition, free to the public, will feature the likes of Jimmy C, most famously known for his David Bowie work in Brixton, and Michael Bosanko, famed for his vibrant street art, in addition to 10 exceptional emerging UK-based artists, commissioned to recreate Mickey Mouse in their own individual styles.

The chosen artists, and those exhibiting artworks, include Ashton Attzs, the talented painter and poet; Jazz Stan’s fusion of traditional fine art techniques and modern street art styles; and Alexandra Krusberg, who is most notably praised for her delicate linework.

Also on display at the exhibition will be Mickey-inspired work from Tenatsa Borerwe; Brook Tate; In Search of Sam; Carl Beazley; Sam Adefe; Pal Kumar; and Fred Coppin - each artist taking inspiration from different periods of Mickey Mouse’s 90 years to date.

The free exhibition opens its door to the public and art enthusiasts in Shoreditch, London on Friday 16th November; to attend, please book a session.
