"Sated" is a programme of four-panel discussions curated by a/political in collaboration with the Goldsmiths Visual Cultures Society at Goldsmiths, University of London.

"Sated" examines the deteriorating effect of the rhetoric of success and the smugness that comes with it; characteristic for the current profit-driven economy, on a critical assessment of social reality. For the second panel from the series, we have invited our guests to discuss the impact that whistleblowers and citizen journalists have on the current media and visual arts landscape, the challenges that they are facing, as well as the existing UK legislation that allows to prosecute and protect those who decide to blow a whistle.

Invited Speakers:
- Crofton Black, Researcher, Journalist and Writer
- Edmund Clark, Artist
- Matt Kennard, Researcher, Journalist and Writer
- Bob Matheson, Head of Advice & Advocacy, Protect
- Andrei Molodkin, Artist
- Samatha Prosser, Solicitor, BDBF
- Behrang Tajdin, Journalist, Reporter, BBC Persian

This discussion will be moderated by Dr Sylwia Serafinowicz (Curator, a/political)
