“Marvel Fearless and Fantastic Exhibition” and book launch EVENT to celebrate International Womens Day

In celebration of International Women’s Day, Orbital Comics and DK Books are proud to host an exhibition of art from the pages of DK’s latest title “Fearless and Fantastic!” — an encyclopaedia style who’s-who of female Marvel superhero character profiles through the ages! Women can save the world. More than 50 incredible female Super Heroes from the Marvel Comics universe inspire women of all ages to be powerful, passionate and persistent.

Illustrated with stunning comic-book artwork, each short biography is carefully curated to focus on the character’s abilities and achievements. This book for girls and women of all ages will create new fans of comics, as well as inspiring comic-book creators of the future.

Hosted in our gallery, this fantastic exhibit runs for the entirety of March, but for the full experience, come on down Saturday 9th March for photo opportunities and fun with Cosplayers being their favourite characters including Captain Marvel, Black Widow, Ms Marvel and other costumed super-women of the Marvel Universe in person!!

Copies of Fearless and Fantastic will be available in store, as well as a wealth of Marvel’s greatest female-led graphic novels!
