Nearly 200 years ago, the RHS set out to create a National School of Horticulture. A total of 105 young men were recruited, all going on to shape the way we garden today – one became perhaps the greatest gardener of his time: Joseph Paxton, designer of Crystal Palace and the man behind the world’s most popular banana. Find out more in this exhibition, one of a series that lifts the lid on the science, art and practice of horticulture.
