Emily from Chap & Darling knit shop is hosting this arm(y) knitting workshop where visitors can get creative.
During the Second World War, knitting was an extremely popular pastime. Abram Games designed the poster 'Please knit now' to encourage women in the forces and at home to knit socks for British soldiers.
Drawing inspiration from Games's work participants can knit their very own blanket. Woolly Mahoosive's giant acrylic yarn is so chunky everyone will be using arms instead of needles!
Tea and coffee will be provided. All materials supplied.
