Saturday, 30 March: Brasserie of Light will be honouring the worldwide movement of Earth Hour with a special dining in the dark experience. For one hour, the lights within the restaurant and bar will be switched off, transforming the brasserie into a beautiful candlelit space from 8.30pm to 9.30pm.

Situated within the prestigious Selfridges department store, yet with its own exclusive entrance via Duke Street, guests of the restaurant will be invited to dine by candlelight whilst enjoying atmospheric live music and performances from LED ballerinas that will bring a touch of sparkle to the evening.

Diners will be able to choose from an eclectic mix of classic British and internationally-inspired dishes from the brasserie’s À LaCarte menu including Hand-Dived Scallops with Red Peppers and Chicken Dumpling with Truffle and Citrus, alongside an array of exquisite main courses including Spaghettini with Lobster, Datterini Tomatoes, Chilli and Garlic and Blackened Cod with Charred Sprouting Broccoli, Wasabi Mayo and Truffle Wafu Dressing. For those with a sweet tooth, Brasserie of Light offers a range of indulgent desserts including, Pegasus Pie served with a Yuzu Coconut Cloud and Chocolate Bubbles made with Valrhona Guanaja Dark Chocolate, Dark Chocolate Mousse, Chocolate Brownie, Vanilla Ice Cream and Chocolate Pearls.

Karthikeyan Chandran, General Manager at Brasserie of Light says: “We are excited to be taking part in Earth Hour this year to help raise awareness for this important cause. We hope that guests will enjoy our special dining in the dark experience, all taking place by candlelight and underneath our beautiful, naturally sparkling Pegasus. I am pleased to confirm that Brasserie of Light will be making a donation to WWF in support of protecting the environment for generations to come.”

A new and exciting Art-Deco restaurant and bar, Brasserie of Light offers diners with beautiful interiors, an impressive central cocktail bar, contemporary dining area and private dining.
