Fun, for everyone and free!

Marvellous Machines!
During the reign of Queen Victoria, steam, clockwork, and even pedal power were used to create the beginnings of many of the things we use today.

From typewriters to Tower Bridge, moving pictures to Meccano, the 19th century was the age of invention. Come and get your creative juices flowing this Easter as we explore Marvellous Victorian Machines!

Art activities will be on offer throughout the Museum. As usual the Victorian classroom will also be open to peruse, as well as the East End Kitchen, Under 5s Ragamuffin Room and the Towpath Café for those parched grown-ups!
