Returning for a second year in April, Marylebone Food Festival launches on 24 April with The Marylebone Menu a sell-out charity dinner featuring some of the area’s best chefs and raising funds for Springboard UK. Over the following four days restaurants, bars and food businesses will give Londoners dozens of reasons to visit this culinary diverse pocket of London.

The complete festival line-up with details of each event can be found on the official website with highlights including:

  • Basque restaurant Donostia's Basque Cider and Pintxo festival (£10), Carousel London’s Pasta Making workshop (£55), a Baa-rolo (spring lamb and Barolo) evening at Boxcar Butcher & Grill (£55), a Vegan supper at The Gate (£49.50), a Palestinian and Israeli wine tasting at Delamina (£15), Butchers block to table as you watch at Daylesford Organic and a festival caviar menu at Twist Kitchen.


  • Festival menus will feature at the much-lauded Chiltern Firehouse, authentic Italian Il Baretto, award winning restaurateur Ravinder Bhogal’s restaurant Jikoni, modern Greek Opso, relaxed, informal wine focused restaurant and community hub, Blandford Comptoir, Michelin star Indian restaurant, Trishna, Japanese Cocoro and French restaurant and wine bar, Clarette.


  • Exclusive events will also include a Txakoli festival at Basque restaurant Lurra (£10), an Italian seafood and Champagne banquet at Fucina (£90/£130), a signing with author of Secret London: Unusual Bars & Restaurants at The George Bar, Durrants Hotel, a Gin & Tonic Sunday Brunch at The Montagu Kitchen (£75), a supper club at neighbourhood café and bar, 31 Below, a TacoCake (taco pancakes) brunch at The Cavendish (£50) and Food Matters: nutritionally focused dinners at The London Clinic (£29.50).


  • There will be further drinks events from Lebanese restaurant Levant’s Lebanese food & wine matching dinner (£40) and Vinoteca’s masterclass in expertly matching wine to food to boutique wine merchant, Philglas & Swiggot’s Marylebone Gin tasting evening and other popup events. The Coach Makers Arms will host an informal cocktail masterclass on 25 April (£30) and Pachamama’s Pisco Sour masterclass will be held on 26 April (£85).


  • Finally, exclusive festival offers will feature 20% off food at Italian Bernardi’s, pasta and a glass of wine for £10 at Carousel London, a flight of two Extra Brut Grand Cru Champagnes (£20) and a bio and gluten free two beer flight (£10) at Le Vieux Comptoir, three courses and a cocktail at newly launched Ooty (£40), a complimentary glass of Simon Rogan’s Exton Park sparkling wine at Roganic with the long tasting menu, complimentary aperitif bar snacks with the first drink at The Cavendish and for a glass of wine matched to a main course special (£16) at Vinoteca.


Marylebone Food Festival will come to a close on Sunday 28th April, the day of The London Marathon giving marathon runners and spectators plenty of things to do after the run.
