Programme

Collage Crowns
11am–4pm, Gallery 4 (drop in)
Taking inspiration from the natural world and the different shapes Sohlberg creates in his paintings, collage yourself a crown.

Simplifying Sohlberg
11am–4pm, Gallery 2 (drop in)
Join Andrew and Emma from Miscellaneous Adventures to learn how to make your own mini pennant flag inspired by the shapes, colours and compositions in Sohlberg’s work.

Baby Blue (6mths – 3yrs)
11am–4pm, Gallery 10 (drop in)
Got a very little one with you? Come and explore the colour blue in this quiet, sensory space. Explore different objects, look at our paintings, and relax.

Treetastic
11am–4pm, Sackler Centre (drop in)
One of Sohlberg’s trademarks was the way he painted trees against the sky. Join Jennie Webber from Wild Life Drawing for some messy ink blowing to make your own tree patterns against paper.

Start with a Seed
11am–4pm, Linbury Room (drop in)
Join Global Generation, expert gardeners and creators of The Skip Garden at King’s Cross, to make your own seed bomb to take home and brighten up your garden.

Outdoor Adventure
Hourly from 11.30am–3.30pm, Linbury Room (first-come, first-served)
Join Global Generation for a sensory walk looking, touching, smelling and listening your way through the Gallery grounds. Places on walks are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Please meet inside the Linbury Room for the beginning of the walk.
