A collaboration between Leytonstone Pop-Up Cinema and Maghreb Ciné in Leytonstone, east London, screening Jacques Audiard's crime thriller, 'A Prophet' (Un prophète; 2009; certificate 18; 150 minutes) starring Tahar Rahim.

Feature starts at 7.45pm and doors open at 7.15pm. There'll be mint tea and snacks ahead of the film.

SYNOPSIS: Gritty, shocking and unforgettable, A Prophet is an epic crime masterpiece that can't be missed.

A nineteen-year-old troublemaker starts a six year sentence in a notorious prison, a concrete hell where violence is the only language understood.
