Back by public demand, Leyden Gallery are pleased to host another evening of true storytelling containing a mixture of wit, tragedy, pathos and laughter. The evening will be introduced by former stand up, script writer and short story writer, Julie Balloo.

Some of the storytellers performing include;

Chock:

She is a Biomedical scientist originally from Malaysia. She came into writing because she has so many stories from her life in the NHS as a nurse and as a Biomedical scientist and as a migrant. She performed a monologue at the Arcola recently and was a runner up in a screen writing competition. Together with 3 other women she is going to make her second short film. She met her husband in the Sahara Desert and they just celebrated their 42nd anniversary.

Donna King:

Dancer, choreographer, singer, actress and writer and songwriter. Broadway star. Played Bombalirina in the original Cats on Broadway and the lead in Kiss of the Spiderwoman in the West End.

Dreenagh Darrell:

Former stand up, Pschycotherapist, PHD, academic author.

Lovell:

Music act that rhymes with shovel, described as Lo-fi punk vibe with cool acoustic grooves and witty but weird songs about sleazy dreams and domestic chores.

Charmain Hughes:

A comedian returning to Leyden Gallery after touring around New Zealand and Australia with her award winning one person show.

Lindsay Moran:
