The London Art Biennale, sponsored by the Gagliardi Gallery, is a celebration of art from over 120 artists from over 40 nations.
At the exhibition, a virtual reality digital art installation which gives viewers a unique insight into the mind of an artist who suffers daily with the aftereffects of oral cancer and vascular dementia is being unveiled for the first time.
‘Life is Beautiful. Always.’ is by artist Marcel Schreur. He collaborated with film and media specialists Dominic Green and Daniel Bacchus from Sheffield Hallam University to create the installation that allows viewers to experience the physical effects of a life with Dementia.
Age UK Kensington and Chelsea has been nominated as the official charity partner due to the unique focus of this year’s exhibition, which aims to increase understanding of the mental and physical impact of vascular dementia.
The Biennale is supporting Age UK Kensington and Chelsea by hosting a raffle, with 100% of of money raised going direct to the charities
