FREE OUTDOOR CINEMA COMES TO ACTON GARDENS THIS SUMMER

Residents and visitors will be singing about ‘The Greatest Show’ and ‘A Million Dreams’ on Friday 16th August, at a free outdoor cinema at Acton Gardens in West London. The screening of The Greatest Showman will have residents and their visitors singing along in the grounds as part of a series of community initiatives taking place at the landmark regeneration project organised by joint venture partners L&Q and Countryside.
Inspired by the imagination of American showman P. T. Barnum, The Greatest Showman is a musical drama that celebrates the birth of show business and tells of a visionary, who rose from nothing to create a spectacle that became a worldwide sensation. The film is PG rated and is particularly popular with families.

Acton Gardens is the award-winning regeneration of the South Acton Estate, being delivered by L&Q, one of the UK’s leading charitable housing associations, and Countryside, one of the UK’s leading home builders specialising in placemaking and regeneration. Once completed, the project will provide over 3,300 new homes, including 1,250 socially rented homes and almost a third more affordable housing than existed before the regeneration began. This will be alongside new community and youth centres (recently opened), parks and landscaping, and a dental surgery.
The event commences at 8.00pm, with the screening taking place from 8:30pm. Refreshments will be provided and attendees are encouraged to bring their own cushions and blankets.

Tickets are required. Visit yoursouthacton.co.uk/news or contact the regeneration team on 020 8075 5240. There are limited spaces available and tickets will be issued on a first-come-first serve basis, with up to five tickets per family.
