Discover the Mayfair area of London with two self-guided, heritage walks with an optional treasure hunt. Buy or instantly download our booklet containing two walks then explore in your own time.

A Curious About walk is a fun and social activity for all the family and friends. Different people can take on different roles - follow the map, identify picture clues, read directions, etc - it's ideal for children from the age of 6, and if you can walk/wheelchair it, you're young enough!

Booklet contains detailed map of routes and attractions, historic information, and a series of clues and pictures to find, with separate hints and answers – resident or just visiting, you’re guaranteed to spot things you’ve never noticed before. Walks are suitable for all ages (detours to avoid steps are marked on the route map), and typically take 1-2 hours each to complete.

Mayfair, in the City of Westminster, is bounded to the west by Park Lane, Oxford Street to the north, Regent Street to the east and Piccadilly to the south. It is named after the annual two week long May Fair that moved from Haymarket in 1686, and moved on to Bow in 1764. Take this walk and visit the famous Squares of Hanover, Grosvenor and Berkeley. Admire the grand architecture, gaze at the luxury of countless Rolls Royces, five-star hotels and refined shops, and enjoy the open spaces, richness of history and the hustle and bustle of a truly unique and sumptuous area of London.
