The food is really nice and fresh and tastes homemade. There is a good range of dips and veggies and the salad is crisp and scrumptious. You get fed well for your money for sure.

We went to Sappho a few weeks ago. The atmosphere there was great, authentic and homely.
The food was amazing. There isn't a menu as such you are just asked if you are vegetarian or not and once you've answered this just sit back and wait for the food to come...and it just keeps coming! The waiter/owner (?) we met with was helpful and courteous. Good local beers available.
Be sure to have cash as I don't think they take credit cards. I think we paid up to £30 for 2 beers and meze dinner for two.

love this place. so very homely. the food is brillant. like your mother's best cooking. and you can get very full if you go in pairs. it's a set menu with starters, mains and dessert. all very healthy and cooked wholesomely. highly recommended!

Really good value for money, the food was tasty, the service friendly, you feel at home.
I leave not too far from the restaurant and I am glad I found it, I will be back.

This place is just fantastic. The food is good honest Greek fare and tastes like very good home cooking. The flavors and freshness of the food are sensational and every mouthful a delight. For the price of £9.50 per head for three courses it is simply amazing the amount of different dishes that are served. The waitress even warns you when you are halfway through the meal so that you can hold back a bit if you are already feeling full! The owner is clearly passionate about his food and will happily tell you the ingredients and preparation details for every dish. The service is attentive and fast.
Highly recomended, I have been three times and each time the standard has been high.

Very low key Greek Meze bar that is 30m down up the road from the tube. It does not look like much with the decor being rather average, but the food is amazing. We ordered the Meze (other options were available) and were not disappointed. The highlight of the meal was a shank of Lamb of which the meat fell off the bone as soon as a fork touched it.

Very good value for money and friendly service. A great find, just outside the tube.
