The food is amazing, especially the pizza, the people are nice and the service is good. It is one of my favourite restaurants

Great atmosphere. The starter La Fritta di Mare was terrible - over salted and chef hadn't bothered to peel prawns- how should one eat a battered unpeeled prawn?!!!!The veal was like leather and the sauce accompanying it was over salty with no taste. The roast potatoes were delicious though. Also, we were served warm white wine. Tables are also very small but somehow it adds to the cosy atmosphere. If I had to go back I would order a pizza as they looked really authentic.

Food can be ok sometimes, but erratic. Service is dismal and rude at the worst of times and average at the best of times. The atmosphere however is fun and relaxed. The only thing holding them back is the service.

I went to Santa Lucia last night and was served the worst bowl of pasta I have ever had put in front of me. I ordered the seafood linguine. What arrived on the table had very little sauce, what appeared to be 6 strands of linguine, and lots of average looking seafood with parsley in the top. To make matters worse, my friend had ordered the same meal and hers came out as a full plate of linguine, just as you would expect it to look. She even said to me 'I thought we ordered the same thing?'. It appeared to us both that they had made prepared her plate and then threw the left over scraps onto mine.

I told the waitress I was expecting more linguine with the seafood. With an eye roll the plate was rudely snatched away and she stormed off. She returned moments later with the exact same food rearranged on a different plate.

I got the message that my complaint was not being too well received so I ate the precious little linguine I had been given.

At the end of the meal the waitress said that the cook had offered to make me some more pasta as he did admit my plate had very little linguine on it - this was offered after our plates had been cleared and we had ordered the bill. It was now 10:20. I said 'no thank you' and we waited for the bill, which came with both seafood linguine's charged at full price.

The service was slow, rude and completely slap dash - a dismal dining experience.

I went to this restaurant last night and I have to say I was very pleased. I have not been here for a good while as I have a favourite restaurant but since it was closed last night we said we'd try here. The staff were lovely, atmosphere was nice and quiet with soft music playing in the background, the food was delicious and great value for money. There were no complaints from anybody and we were all very satisfied. I will definitely be back as will everyone else from the group.
