Great, tasty, eclectic food
Given that Eritrea was once a colony of Italy it’s not unusual to see Italian dishes on menus, however it has a distinctive gastronomy in its own right. At Mosob the only trace of Italian food are desserts like tiramisu and tartufo; instead top billing is given to grilled meats and things like minchetabish, a spicy minced beef casserole with boiled eggs. Injera, a type of spongy pancake, is served with most dishes to mop up the juices.

Fantastic family run restaurant with ridiculously friendly service. The decor and ambience are lovely and the food was very reasonbly priced and delicious. I am elated to have discovered Eritrean food. I shall be returning.

Great little restaurant run by a couple of brothers and a cousin. The food is fresh and delicious, with great drinks to wash down all the spice. Service is cheerful, efficient and attentive. Nice "date" atmosphere, with Kasbah lamps and fairy lights at the bar. If you really want to relax, the back tables offer Arabic-style dining on cushions around low tables. Great value!
