Sure this place is empty and sure it's quiet but I don't think I have had a better curry in the WHOLE of London!! The difference between their curry and other curry is they don't cook with oil. Their curries are fresh & delicious! The butter chicken is the best I've ever had I highly recommend!

My experience with this restaurant was not so positive. We had to wait very long for our food (1.5 hours) and customers who came after us got their food faster than us?!? Next to that the portions were very small and with the side orders (rice) they weren't too generous as well. They served the salad without dressing and they got a bad excuse why they didn't serve it with it. (Only western salads contains dressing) You have to be very careful. The waiter is 'recommending' you to order side orders and before you know it, you have ordered many side dishes which you actually won't order in the first place and it also raises the total amount of your final bill. At the end, they charge you a service tax of 15% of the final amount, while their service was bad. The food (tandoori meat) was okay but not high class but that is not the issue. The fact that the owner is going to debate with you about the high final bill, with lousy excuses as 'higher prices for meat, high renting prices, prices for cost of living etc'. have made our visit to this restaurant to a utter disappointing experience and the feeling that we were ripped off. So beware with what you're doing and what you are ordering. If you want to get Indian food, served with integrity and quality, I would recommend you to go somewhere else in London. If you want to get food at a very high price (price-quality-service) then you must certainly come here.

India cottage has changed quite a lot since the last time i went there. There is now a new owner and they have refurbished. The food was delicious and the service was great. Inside the restaurant everything it was very comfortable and the food was very delicious. It was a night to remember and I would recommend this restaurant.

Delivery within 20 mins which is excellent. Sadly quality of food was truly appalling. Food was lukewarm, sauces watery, king prawns were old and tough, the chilli chicken dish comprised of nothing but chicken and chillies! no creativity of any of the dishes. Restaurant did say they would replace order when I called to complain.
