Get your shirt on, it's time for a luau...

This late opening bar and restaurant has been going strong for over a decade. The theme of course is tiki, there are bar bites always available as well as ocasional foodie pop-ups like a collaboration with Creole Kitchen. They're in Bayswater, and are the only venue to open till the early hours in the area.

Having going to the Beachcomber since I was a young'un, I was struck buy how kind the staff were. It recently got even better when I went back there and I was struck by the quality of coctails, (the delicious Asian persuasion- CLASS!) and how it frankly looks boody amazing with a chilled vibe. More people need to hear about this place. As for what it is- VERY UNDERRATED. More people need to come. Bartenders are awesome and sooo friendly! You also get a cocktail free before 9 which is lovely. So much care is put in to the drinks as well. Highly recommend for at-least a pre-drink!

Thanks for your awesome review, glad you had a good time Bruce. Plenty of new changes in The Beachcomber since then. New cocktails, new menu but of course The Beachcomber vibe remains ( and the asian persuasion ofcourse!)

It's really nice after the place got a renovation, the bartenders were skilled, and they played good music, it was place to dance and let loose too. Something that you might wanna change is the green tea. Oh and btw if you are visiting the Beachcomber you should try out the old fashion and the asian persuasion (not the bartender but the drink)

I had the pleasure of going to the Beachcomber last night (Sat 4th Oct '08) and would definately recommend it to anyone and everyone. Get involved.

It is simply THE place to be, with an interesting mix of partygoers and fantastic live music and a spacious dance floor. Service at the bar was always instantaneous and the staff were polite and helped to create the terrific atmosphere in the club.

I wouldn't hesitate in going back! BOOOOOOM!
