I have been using the London Bridge Post Office for several years. I am very pleased with the service provided by the branch staff. This is a very professional, friendly and nice team. Special thanks to [the lady] who has helped me send parcels quickly many times. Thank you

Not sure why the staff there are always so surly and unhelpful...
It's not cool to chat among yourselves while people are waiting and then act as if you are doing your customers a favour by deigning to serve them. Royal Mail is a public company now, get with the program.

There are some people who need to be tought how important it is to communicate with all costumers in a polite way, even if they are foreigns. I came to change my driving license from EU to British, and left without getting any service and feeling confused and disappointed about rude and unclear behaviour with me.

It's great that they have recently finished refurbishing this branch as it makes for a slightly more pleasant environment to while away the hours spent waiting in the queue. 3 cashiers available out of a possible 9, no sign of the 3 that were serving trying to speed up a bit to cope with the queue out the door! Lunchtime at a very busy post office, come on, get some staff please.

I went there with much scepticism after reading the reviews, mainly over a year or more old, but was pleasant to see a brightly lited modern clean post office with several counters manned by different races. The service was easy without a fuss. Well impressed.

I dread having to go to this Post Office because of how rude the staff are! I seem to get served by the same cashier each time unfortunately and she always has the same bad attitude and smarmy comments. I also didn't like the way she handled my parcel as if it were a piece of garbage. Terrible service. I actually go to a different PO now in Old Street to avoid this. Nobody wants to be treated like rubbish even if it is just a quick trip to the PO, the staff need to learn some manners.

On 03/08/2011, I sent a parcel to Italy using London Bridge post office. I was served by a blond/gingerish cashier of a big build with a scottich accent. The fact is, a month later, I'm still waiting for it to be delivered! Should I be worried or is it just an unusual delay? Has anyone had a similar bad service?

Today I was served by a very rude cashier who constantly threw 'smart' comments at me making me out to be stupid. She also moaned all the way through my passport check service and told me she had been doing her job for 8 years and knows what she's doing when she clearly didn't have a clue as I had to correct her a number of times. Also there was no need to tell me how long she had been a post office cashier, I was there for a service not a life story.

The lady that served me today has to be the rudest cashier I have ever met since moving to London. She constantly threw 'smart' comments at me making me out to be stupid and moaned all the way through my passport check and send service. I am not happy with this post office at all.

This is not a good post office if you don't have lots of time to wait around. It also has very poor signage so you can be waiting in one queue for 10 minutes only to find out when you get to the counter you are in the wrong queue and have to queue again. When I suggested that better signage would help customers the lady who served me was very unfriendly and unapologetic!

They have a self service machine for weighing items and buying stamps, which I use regularly. It is easy to use and there is never a queue.
I avoid using the counter services unless I really have to due to the length of time it takes to get served. This is a busy branch and I would have thought warrants more staff.

Having moved into the area July 2009, & having to use this Post office two or three times a week for small business use - I agree with the previous comment. Unless you want foreign currency (which has a separate counter) the queues are ridiculous. No matter what time of day you go, there are never enough staff to deal with the amount of custom. The Post Office as a brand regularly advertises extra services ...... but there is little or no point if you have to queue for 40 minutes to access them. Once you reach the front of the queue, the staff themselves are pleasant enough to deal with, however I admit there is little sense of urgency. It seems the lack of customer service has become the norm there.

I frequent this post office every day for business transactions and every day am fed up with the lack of service. There is a designated business counter that is only open from 9-12 but is more often than not closed during those times so you therefore have to go the the counter next to it which then takes up a staff member who would be normally serving the normal que. They have numerous tills and I have only ever seen a maximum of 5 working at the one time when there are horrendous ques every single day. The manager and assistant manager do absolutely nothing and have no response when you ask them why they aren't behind the counter serving when there are huge ques. The managers stand behind the counter looking at the ques or walk up and down the que asking if anyone wants special delivery or to open a post office credit account. The staff look extremely demotivated and you can also feel this in the slow, depressing and unhelpful attitude when they are serving you. It is poorly managed, poorly staffed and poorly rotered.
