The restaurant was very busy on a Friday night and we hadn't booked but they managed to juggle and give us a table for 4 outside. Food was fabulous, couldn't be faulted.

One of the rudest set of staff I have ever encountered in a restaurant, I almost left they were so rude to our whole party. The restaurant is very overcrowded in terms of furniture, but unsurprisingly given the standard of service not particularly crowded in terms of customers. I won't be visiting them again.

Having visited Ciao Bella on several occassions it is always fresh food and wonderful service and just the right "italian attitude!" from the waiters. Easily the best Italian and the most reasonable prices around here.

Would recommend this restaurant highly - the atmosphere and the decor are so fitting with the whole experience. Would always go again.

Fairly ordinary Italian restaurant overcrowded with brusque service to match.

I have visited this restaurant five times in the last 18 months (June 2009) and it never fails to impress with good value honest food. Yes there is home made pizza and pasta but also an interesting variety of other dishes to tempt you. I have have dined here for informal lunch meetings as well as entertaining friends, the service always prompt and efficient; what a great find!

I recommend it very highly.

Ciao Bella never disappoints, in over 15 years that I have been going the food, service and atmosphere never faulter.

The specials are great, would highly recommend the duck with morello cherry sauce served with sauted potatoes and seasonal veg if your in the mood for something other than pasta or pizza. The Spaghetti with lobster is delious and well worth splashing out a little extra every once in a while.

The picture used is very old one (I think when it was under old managememt) It has been refurbished both inside and out, outside there are more tables than shown in the picture, its a great in the summer to sit outside and watch the world pass by along Lambs Conduit St.

You have to go!

I stumbled into Ciao Bella, after meeting a date for a drink in the pub next door - I may not have gone there otherwise. It being a first date, I wasnt going to quibble over prices, but found them to very reasonable.

The service was so good that it didnt occur to me to think about the service - and I do normally, a lot. It wasnt over the top, it was just good and friendly and not obtrusive. The food was light, fresh, and well cooked - I cannot fault it. Bruschetta to start, with fresh tomatoes, dressing, lovely bread. I had Clams with spaghetti, and a light tomatoe and chilli dressing, which was really good, and my date had some kind of risotto, which she enjoyed too. We both had desserts, I had wine, coffees. It was very reasonable, so I had no compunction in springing for dinner - an ideal place for a date, first one or otherwise. With a great atmosphere and ambience, Im sure to score brownie points there in future. There were obviously a lot of people who agree, the place was packed.

Excellent service, excellent food, excellent atmosphere.
My girl and i were fully impressed by this restaurant.
I have been to Italy very often but i never ate such a good pizza like that in "ciao bella".
We stayed in London for 3 days but it was surely the best restaurant we were in.
We had a great time drinking much of the famous house wine listening to the pianist.
Fair prices made this experience completely positive.
Highly recommended.

Food excellent always cooked fresh to order.
Very good selection of wines and meals .
Atmosphere good.
Service very friendly and efficient.
Restaurant itself well decorated and very clean.

Evenings are fun when they have a pianist, creates a lovely atmosphere.
When we started eating here my daughter was a patient at Gt Ormond St Hospital, disabled in a wheelchair and waiting for a heart transplant. There was always a special place for her here. The owner and his staff all became our friends and 7 years on we still enjoy eating here quite regularly, travelling up from Hertfordshire to do so.

I now work in London and my colleagues have also become great fans here.

Ciao Bella is the perfect place for lunch or dinner, whether you are dining alone or with a large group, dining in the restaurant or require a takeaway option. The service is friendly and efficient and the prices are very good value for money. But more importantly, the food is fantastic and if it's a sunny day, there are a number of tables along the frontage of the restaurant. Personally, I've been to Ciao Bella on numerous occasions (for both inhouse dining and takeaway) and would highly recommend the pizza or pasta, finished off with a house red and if there's any room left (the portions are generous), there are delicious desserts available. Well worth a visit!
