The Skinners company was awarded their first royal charter in 1327 was then called the Guild of Furriers regulating apprenticeship. Today the Skinners are more involved in charitable work and education. The Skinners Hall is available for hire and can cater for up to 170 people dining, and receptions for up to 300 people.
