This red-brick Georgian house was built in 1729 and is a classic example of the Dutch architecture of that era. Once you’re inside the magnificent wrought iron gates the house reveals exquisite craftsmanship and décor chosen by the former owner, wealthy merchant John Harle. The house is open on Saturdays and on Bank Holidays between 2pm and 5pm. Admission is £2.80 for adults and £1.60 for children.
