Good Mexican food in London? Yes, that's what we had at Chiquito Restaurant. Our apps and meals were very good and served hot. Drinks were fine as well. Plenty to choose from the menus and a lot of atmosphere in a very large setting. Definitely recommend this place. Only issue we had was slow service, but it appeared to be limited to just us since several tables around us turned over twice before we were out of there. Other than that, take a trip there if you are craving Mexican food.

Went here last weekend with a few friends. The food was okay, but I've had much better Mexican food in the past. But it wasn't bland. The service was good - that's when the waiter does eventually turn up. The drinks were average. Do not get a pitcher as it's not as strong.

Been here for the second time now, loved the food both times. We had a mixed platter for two, there was even some guacamole involved which I normally do not like but hey, there's a first time for everything, last time I had the chili, now fajita's with chicken BBQ, it was very tastefull. Everybody was very friendly and I was lucky enough to get served twice now by Jerome, somebody got his number?! :-))
Next time we got to Londen we will certainly go back to Chiquito's.

Qué horror! If you love good food I advise you not to go in that restaurant. I am still kicking myself. It was the worst meal I have ever had. We arrived at 8pm and were served our first course at 8.45pm. I decided to be safe and order the Chiquito’s Classico Burger (which I thought would be a spicy burger). It was dry like an old boot and smelt like lamb instead of beef and they forgot the cheese. The "skin on fries" tasted as if the potatoes had been made from 5 year old potatoes. My daughter had the Burrito which was disgusting, tasteless and looked like vomit. Staff was unhelpful and slow. If this slow service was a gimmick and the staff wanted to be like the Mexican cartoon character Slowpoke Rodríguez I did not find it funny. I will not be going there again!

Chiquito is a great mexican restaurant, the food is delicious in particular the nachos. And I had the fajitas beef and they were delicious too. My sister had the soft tacos and she really enjoyed it there. The staff is very friendly and it was very busy.

Hi There,
Visited Chiquito's London on Saturday 19th September 2009 to celebrate 60th Birthday with freinds & family. Had a fantastic time, staff where brilliant in particular our watiress Andy who went above and beyond to make our evening a great one. Would recommend Chiquito's to friends and family with or without children. Catered for every taste. Overall a brilliant evening enjoyed by all.

I found that Chiquito had some of the tastiest Mexican food I'd ever eaten.

Formy starter, I had the nachos, which were defintitely the best I'd ever had. They were warm, and the cheese was melted over all of it. Not a guacamole fan, but I'm sure if I'd have asked for it without they would have obliged. The other half had sweet potato skins, and he said they were lovely.

For my main, I ordered chicken fajitas... which I probably shouldn't as I'm a fussy eater. It came with plentiful vegetables, but not as much chicken as I had hoped... as that's the only part I eat. I knew I should have ordered something else! But still, what I did eat tastes very nice. The other half had fish and chips. The chips came seasoned in what tasted like sea salt and black pepper. They were very nice, but perhaps too salty for some.

For dessert I ordered (I forget the name) this banana wrapped in a kind of fajita type thingy... anyways, it was goooood.

I will definitely be returning to try out some more of the menu, and definitely the nachos!

The service was fine, nothing amazing, but not bad, either. The staff seemed friendly enough. Perhaps the tables are a bit close together though.

Having visited the restaurant on a busy friday night, we were seated fairly quickly. The staff were more than helpful and very polite. Having 2 rather fussy under five year olds with us, we were allowed to pick and choose from both the adult and kids menu to build a meal they would enjoy. Not only was the food fantastic but there was so much of it. The atmosphere was great and I will definately be eating there again. Well worth a visit for great food at a very reasonable price.

Out of 5 of us, only 3 of our orders were taken correctly. The waiter rude and unhelpful, possibly sensing we were unhappy we were served the remainder of the night by the manager who was just as unhelpful and uncommunicative. To top things off, later in the evening the waiter tipped a drink down me.

None of the above apparently warrented an apology.

The food (eventually) was ok - unfortunately the service was absolutely awful.

We were seated immediately at 4pm on Thurs 29th June. The waiter came over to take our drinks orders within a couple of minutes and was back with them almost straight away. Upon drinks delivery our food order was taken and this arrived within 15 mins. My hubby had a huuuge burger, fries etc and I had buffalo wings. Hubby thoroughly enjoyed his and mine was fab. When the table was cleared we ordered more drinks and my 2nd cocktail came back more colourful than the 1st....well, it was my birthday. We had a great experience and will definately go back. I would recommend for outstanding service don't go at peak times, leave it just an hour later. 10 out of 10.

I went here with my sister at the weekend for the second time, and have to say we both loved it. We were seated within 5 minutes despite being told it would take 15. We gave our order quickly and I explained we only had just over an hour as we had theatre tickets. The waiter was polite, friendly and efficient, we had finished our starter within half an hour of arriving and would have had time for dessert after a huge main course if we had had room for it! The food was great (especially the oniony chutney which comes with the Santa Fe wrap), service excellent and well worth the money we paid. I would definitely recommend it and we will be going back for a third visit.

I went here last night - mostly because I assumed it would be quick. What a mistake that was. We ordered two chicken burrito's. First I was distrubed to see unlike its rivals you could have this with guacomole, sour cream or salsa. Oh I get it you want to charge us £0.75 for all extra's!! The food was slow (25 minutes) and when it came one had side of guacomole and one had a side of salsa, we asked for both with salsa?? The order came with chips and when we enquired if this is the norm, we were told it was (not what it says on the menu). In fact as we started eating we found we has the wrong order, we had a beef burrito and a chicken burrito. Wrong Order then!!

Nothing special. I do enjoy TexMex - mostly for the atmosphere though, they're normally quite loud and you don't feel too conspicuous when the contents of your Fajita inevitably falls out down your shirt. This place wasn't like this; the tables were a bit too close together and I felt overlooked by other diners and so I did feel a bit conspicuous AND it was non-smoking in the restaurant, which is a no-no for me, personally.
