The Hackney Picturehouse is London E8's latest (and arguably best!) 4 screen cinema, with a restaurant, bar and music venue in the form of the Hackney Attic..

Hackney Picturehouse will win over the staunchest believer in classic cinemas. Its state of the art seats are upholstered in deluxe towelling, which renders the warmth of a partner unnecessary. It’s soft, comforting and it never gets clammy. Then there are the screens (massive), the drinks (bucket of Coke or beer) and the food (high-end chocolate raisins). It’s the best thing since ice cream.

Can't think of a better way to spend a winter afternoon than watching one of the many fabulous films at the comfortable and cosy Hackney Picturehouse.
Silver Screen member..Great value, and the inclusive tea, coffee and biscuits are a nice touch.

The Picture House group may try to paint themselves as this liberal, independent, community cinema group, which obviously grates since their sweets and drinks are equally as expensive as The Odeon's (and that's what you judge cinemas on, right?), but I love them anyway. Especially the Hackney Picturehouse.
The screens here have super-comfortable towelling seats, the cafe does a good burger, excellent mini pizzas and a range of local craft beers.
Here's looking at you... Hackney Picturehouse.
