Since winning the 2005 Leeds Conducting Competition, conducting star and RCM graduate Alexander Shelley has had a meteoric rise to fame, and is much in demand by orchestras right across the world. We are thrilled to be welcoming him back to the RCM for a programme with a distinctly American flavour, and the world premiere of a thrilling new jazz-inspired work by RCM Concerto Competition winner Charlotte Harding.
