Excellent restaurant would rate 12/10 if possible - high quality food and very friendly and humorous waiters which makes you feel welcomed. Can be busy and need to wait a while for table and food but it is well worth it. They provide free dessert as well and always apologises for wait. One of the best restaurants at Chinatown. Highly reccommended from someone who is chinese and very particular about chinese food.

If you're looking for somewhere to dine before going to the theatre there's no better place than the New Mayflower. My girlfried and I went to see a show but did not know where to go to eat, the restaurant looked fairly busy but not packed, so we tried it. service was great, food was fantastic and very good value for money, we shared three dishes (special fried rice was the best I've ever tasted) and had a bottle of lager and a Bacardi & Coke, the bill came to £25 including the service charge.
I've got to buy more theatre tickets just so that we have got an excuse to go back to the restaurant.

My family of 8 have been a patron at the New Mayflower Restaurant for 9 years. I highly recommend the the food and the freindly service provided. The restaurant stays open until 4 am. Even at that time, the food is consistently good. If you are a crab lover, I highly recommend the Crab with Black Bean and Chilly with a portion of soft Noodles. The English of the staff is excellent and the do have a sense of humour. If you want a good and consistant meal, I'd recommend them before any of the other shops in the area. They can also do any meal as a takeaway especially if your planning a surprise for someone special.Quality Food and Service. I've made at least 200 visits in the last 9 years. When my wife was pregnant with our son, I'd have to go at least twice a week to satify her cravings for the crabs. Yum..Yum

This is the worst restaurant I have ever been to in London. The food and service was absolutely appalling. After a night's clubbing, my friend and I fancied a quick bite to eat in Chinatown. To our regret, we chose this place at random. The food was slow in coming and we had to ask about five times for our drinks. When our meal was finally served, it didn't taste fresh. When we came to pay, their machine wouldn't accept my friend's card for some reason. Even though she said she'd happily go to a cash machine, the waiter shouted at us both. I complained to the manager about his waiter but he couldn't care less. He said "it depends what kind of service you expect." Avoid this restauran
