Gentleman's Afternoon Tea

The elegant Prism Brasserie is part of the Harvey Nichols portfolio and occupies the sensational former Bank of New York building on Leadenhall Street in the City of London. Harvey Nichols have created a sophisticated setting which oozes the glamour and power of the 1920s financial world, with a vast ceiling height, classic Doric columns and airy space in the main Brasserie.

In addition to the Traditional Afternoon Tea menu, with deliciously nostalgic cakes such as Victoria sponge and Profiteroles, the chef has created a special Gentleman's Afternoon Tea menu with warm salt beef baguette, a home made Scotch Egg and Rhubarb crumble tart with crème chantilly. Both Afternoon Tea offerings are priced at £21.50 per person or £31.50 including a glass of Champagne. Afternoon Tea can also be taken in The Prism Conservatory, which has a triple height glass ceiling and creates a feeling of dining in the garden.

The Library, situated on the ground floor at the rear of the restaurant is reminiscent of a small gentleman's club, retaining many of the original features including the ornate ceiling and fireplace and is perfect for intimate Afternoon Tea parties of up to 24 people.
