Summer Opera

Chiswick House Friends are promoting two nights of opera in the gardens of the historic house in West London this summer. On Wednesday 20thJune there will be a Midsummer Gala of popular arias and opera favourites. The following night, Thursday 21st June, a production of Puccini’s Madam Butterfly will be staged. Both performances will be sung in English by Opera Brava, Britain’s leading outdoor touring opera company.
Delicious hampers can now be pre-ordered for delivery at the event. Performances will commence each evening at 7.30pm and gates will open in advance at 6pm so audieces can picnic beforehand on the magnificant lawns behind the house. Priced from £35 the hampers are provided by the Chiswick House Café. Each serves two people with vegetarian, meat and fish options available to suit all tastes.
