Greek Restaurant in Bayswater
Aphrodite Taverna is a good little restaurant located between Notting Hill and Bayswater, serving Greek dishes for a reasonable price. Seating on the pavement area is provided, weather permitting. A local delivery and takeaway service is also provided.
All personnel were italians. The food was not greek food in its deeper meaning.
It was average in quality, and the personnel were very helpful, but "greek" is not the right word to tell the whole story.
Most expensive dinner in London on our 3-days visit.

for your information... none of the employees are itallian and as i have been frequenting the restaurant for over 10 years i am aware that there has never been an italian person working within the establishment.
I am greek cypriot and apart from one or two options on the menu such as houmous and felafel which i may add are insanely delicious, the food brings me a sense of home. I find it terribly difficult to go to a Greek restaurant and enjoy the food as i would my mothers in my own country. The restaurant may have some flaws but this certainly has nothing to do with the food and the nationality of the employees.

Hello everyone. I`d like to post my experience that I had in this magic place. I was working in this restaurant for 1 year and 4 months and I never ever been so happy. The owners, Rosana and Pantelis are the most friendly people you can meet in London, they make you feel like home in the restaurant. I love them, for the time I been working there I had such a good time with them, for sure there were sad moments but we over came all dificulties, thinking just in ours guests, working, working and working for the best service. I thank Rosana and Pantelis for the opportunity that I had to work in that wonderful place. If you are in London you have to go to APHRODITE TAVERNA. This will be the best restaurant you could go in London. I miss this place, I miss my managers and the staffs. God bless you Rosi and Pantelis.
