*Square Mile magazine launches Square Mile Summer Festival for the City of London this July* - Because One Party Just Isn't Enough For The banking World

Square Mile magazine, the leading luxury lifestyle publication for the City of London will launch the Square Mile Summer Festival on July 9th 2012.

After the overwhelming demand of last year’s Square Mile Summer Party, which saw some 4,000 walk through the doors of The Brewery in Moorgate, Square Mile have decided that one evening clearly isn’t enough for the City.

The Square Mile Summer Festival is a week-long programme of events taking place in the City from the 9-15th July.

Working with a hand-picked list of partners who will be bringing the financial district unique offerings throughout the week, from Green’s Cornhill to Searcys at the Gherkin.

Examples of other venues involved include Virgin Active Islington, Blue Cow Yoga, The Ivy Restaurant, The Whitechapel Gallery and Golden Lane Health & Fitness.

The week will crescendo on Friday 13th July with the infamous Square Mile Summer Party taking place at McQueen in Shoreditch with free drinks and live entertainment.

The current sponsor of the festival is Small Luxury Hotels of the World slh.com who will have an exclusive chill-out area at the final party.

The Square Mile Summer Festival also marks the launch of the Squaremile.com ipad app launching on Monday 9th July.
