The Oscars of the restaurant world spelled relief for the Gordon Ramsay camp, as Marcus Wareing’s Petrus restaurant gained its second star, and Bjorn van der Horst at La Noisette gained its first star.

Atul Kochlar from Benares is celebrating after winning one star, while Soho newcomer Arbutus has quickly risen up the ranks with its first Michelin star also.

“Rising Stars” this year included brother’s Chris and Jeff’s Galvin at Windows with one rising star, and Foliage at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park Hotel with two.

We suggest you get booking your place at the hottest tables in town.
