Park Plaza Sherlock Holmes' AA Rosette award-winning restaurant, The Grill, has prepared a new low-calorie menu just in time for the New Year detox season.
From 7 January 2013, health-conscious diners will be able to enjoy a delicious three course menu at the boutique hotel's modern European restaurant for less than 500 calories. What's more, adding a small glass of wine will only take the total to 675 calories, meaning diners can stick to their post-Christmas diet and toast in the New Year without a guilty conscience.
From scrumptious starters such as wild mushroom and truffle soup to tempting desserts including mango and raspberry mousse with chocolate sauce, the options are nutritious yet indulgent and complement The Grill's focus on healthy flavourful dishes created from locally-sourced organic ingredients. The main course options also emphasise The Grill's continued commitment to healthy living, with a choice of pan-fried turkey escallops or grilled salmon fillet.
"After the indulgent Christmas period our guests are looking for healthier choices in January, which still allow them to enjoy a meal out and celebrate the start of a new year," says Michelle Wells, General Manager of Park Plaza Sherlock Holmes. "With this is mind we've created our new low-calorie menu, which features substantial dishes that will appeal to everyone but without compromising on taste."
The diet-friendly menu is available until 14 February 2013 and is priced at £15 for two courses or £18 for three, allowing guests to enjoy a tasty meal at the Grill without hurting their waistline or their bank balance.
