Lima launches special events service

Peruvian catering for parties

Since its critically acclaimed launch in July 2012, Peruvian restaurant Lima has taken London by storm. Head chef Robert Ortiz and co-owner Gabriel Gonzalez are taking on their next challenge, to launch a special events service from March 2013. The team will offer a tailored approach to events and parties whilst continuing Lima’s tradition of celebrating the authentic flavours of Peru.

Lima has already catered for a number of impressive clients including GQ Magazine, PromPeru (the Peruvian tourist board), Orient Express Group and The Olympic Committee. The team create bespoke menus for each individual occasion, giving guests a unique experience. In keeping with the restaurant, menus will integrate both traditional and contemporary Peruvian cuisine, representing the gastronomic expansion that has taken place in Peru in recent years. Key dishes will include Lima staples such as ceviches and tiraditos as well as signature dishes created by the restaurant's chefs. Guests can also enjoy traditional Peruvian cocktails that Lima is well known for such as pisco sours.

Located in Fitzrovia, Lima was listed as 'One to Watch' in the National Restaurant Awards whilst also being recently named Best New Latin American Restaurant in the Time Out Eating & Drinking Awards, firmly establishing itself as one of London’s hottest new restaurants.
