New patisserie menu at La Pont de La Tour

Iconic French riverside restaurant, Le Pont de la Tour will introduce the ‘With Love from Paris’ Pâtisserie Tasting Menu from 1st April bringing a taste of Paris to London. Created by Executive Head Chef Tom Cook who trained with the renowned Master Pastry Chef, Laurent Duchêne in Paris, the home of pâtisserie, the menu is the sweet lover’s dream and the height of decadence whilst also within the grasp of the budget conscious.

The ‘With Love from Paris’ pâtisserie menu, which is available in the Bar and Grill and on the terrace at Le Pont de la Tour, includes five choices: Tarte au Chocolat, Pistachio Madeleines, Praline Profiteroles, Opera Gateau and Ladurée Ispahan, a rose macaron with fresh raspberries and lychee. Sweet toothed guests are invited to indulge in a choice of three cakes from the menu throughout the day with their choice of drink whether it be tea and coffee (£13.50) or Champagne (From £20).

With its dramatic backdrop of London’s Tower Bridge and large terrace overlooking the river, Le Pont de la Tour provides the ideal spot to enjoy such a treat. Now in its 22nd year, the restaurant has enjoyed a colourful history playing host to many a high profile guest over the years. Tom Cook joined as Head Chef in January 2012 and has worked on the menu to introduce his own signature style, inspired by work with celebrated chefs including Michel Roux Jr., Eric Chavot and Daniel Clifford.

The ‘With Love from Paris’ Pâtisserie tasting menu is available from 1st April throughout the summer priced at £10 for a choice of three cakes (£13.50 including tea/coffee, £20 including a glass of Piper-Heidsieck Brut Champagne, £25 including a glass of Laurent-Perrier Rosé Brut Champagne).
