We talk to Mikee B about Arsenal, London and the strangest thing to have happened to him while DJing.

Describe yourself in five words.

Music loving, non-confrontational, calm, collected and happy

What’s the weirdest thing to have happened to you while DJing?

When I was DJing with the Dreem Team at Club Abyss in Ayia Napa, I was known as Mikee 'Sambuca' and one night the owner gave me two bottles and some shot glasses and said, ‘for you and your friends to have a good night’ I went round the club sharing it and must have had about ten shots and was looking down over the club from the upstairs balcony when I heard my name being called to the decks. I made it down to the decks, braved it up and played my first record and started to mix in the second when my partner, Timmi Magic, said it was clanging and continued, "Nah Mikes, you're alright... I'll take over from here on in" It was the only gig I played one record at but it was a great night.

If you could DJ with any celebrity who would it be?

It would have to be Lionel Messi as he seems a cool, calm character who's at the top of his game - and it would be great to hang out.

What is the best thing about London?

The eclectic mix of people, nationalities, clubs, food and different areas.

What is the worst thing about London?

It's got to be the weather - lol :-) Still waiting for some British summer time!

Where is the most relaxing place in town?

My pal is an amazing landscape gardener and my favourite place to relax in London is his fantastic garden in Enfield, North London. It's laid out with a huge array of flowers, plants, greenery and when he's got the BBQ on and it's a sunny day, there's nowhere I would rather be - you wouldn't even think you were in London.

Imagine you’re Mayor for the day. If you could create one law for London what would it be?

It's got to be that people only have to work from 10am till 2pm, instead of 9am to 5pm. So people can be good parents to their kids and take and collect them from school without having to pay for a child minder or expensive nursery. It also gives us precious time together so that we can feel that we're not all working to live.

What is your favourite building?

Arsenal FC's Emirates Stadium in Highbury, North London - I love supporting my team and feeling part of their rich history.

Who is your favourite Arsenal player?

Jack Wilshere as he's 100% Arsenal and is a real full-blooded player who always gets stuck in.

What is your favourite pub?

Got to pass on this one as I'm not really a pub man.

What’s your favourite club?

It's got to be either Camden Palace (now Koko) or Club Colosseum in Vauxhall as they both produced an amazing energy and atmosphere back in the day - and still do.

We've since heard that sadly Club Colosseum has closed its doors for the last time and is now being prepared for redevelopment boohoo :-(

What’s your favourite restaurant?

Deserie in Cockfosters. It's a great Greek meze bar and restaurant that does amazing Mediterranean style food. I'm a big fan of Greek food. I highly recommend their mixed grill.

Where is the best burger in London?

It's got to be at my pal's BBQ as he gets them specially made with 100% meat from his local butcher.

Tell us a London gem that everyone should know about.

Zoo Menswear in Ilford for designer clothes. I like to look smart and this is a great store that carries an up to date selection of all the leading brands from Prada to Gucci all under one roof, which makes shopping a really pleasant experience.

Mikee B plays the Back To 95 Special on Saturday 7th June at Area.
