Introducing the summer terrace at Yashin Ocean House

Guests can now enjoy Yashin’s inventive head-to-tail menu al fresco

Yashin Ocean House, an exciting, modern Japanese restaurant in South Kensington has recently launched a terrace for the summer months. Guests can now enjoy Yashin’s inventive head-to-tail menu al fresco, together with a refreshing range of sparkling sakes.

A new express lunch is also available at Yashin Ocean House, including two (£19.50) and three (£24.50) courses. Highlights from the new menu include Miso Cappuccino, miso soup with a ginger tofu foam; Omakase Four, four pieces of the chef’s choice of sushi and Pan Fried Monkfish with a saffron mussel broth, fennel and nuka melon, all of which can be enjoyed on the summer terrace.

The cuisine at Yashin Ocean House differentiates itself from the rest of the high-end Japanese restaurants in London as it offers a wider range of seafood cuts. This is only possible through the high skill and expertise of the Chef Patrons, Yasuhiro Mineno, ex-head chef at Ubon by Nobu and renowned Europe-wide for his knife-skills, and Shinya Ikeda, ex-head chef at the prestigious Yumi restaurant in London. They have been joined in the kitchen by talented young chef Daniele Codini former chef de partie at The Fat Duck who has been brought in as Senior Sous Chef.
