My favourite record shop is…

When I was in my teens and early 20s, I used to hang out at a place called Record Basement in Reading (Berks) which is my home town! That was the only outlet for dance music back then and it was my training ground. A small community of DJs and house enthusiasts hung around the shop and I remember once bumping into LTJ Bukem there and ended up in a cafe next door having a cup of tea with him. It was a very memorable moment.

My favourite clothes shop is…
Well I love All Saints and Topshop but I travel a lot and so I like to buy clothes abroad where I know I wont have 'that moment' where I see the same girl wearing the same ''Cringe''!!! I also have a few friends who tailor different items for me, in fact my friend designer Alexyi, brain child behind Unique Designs is working on my costume for this event as we speak!

My favourite club is…
It's not around any more but my favourite club was The Cross in Kings Cross but I never had the chance to play there as a DJ. I like Egg London and you can't beat a bit of Fire! There are a few more which I have on my radar to go and visit such as XOYO and the Nest in Dalston which are next on the list.

My favourite club night is…
Famila of course! I had been wanting to go since it began and I finally made it to the first birthday last year and I loved it. There was an amazing vibe and diverse crowd of people all coming together, and it reminded me of the spirt of ibiza, the reason why I fell in love with House music. Familia definitely has a unique energy about it and I'm very pleased to have been invited to DJ at their 2nd Birthday event - its going to be massive!

If I could DJ with any celebrity (musical or non musical) it would be…
It would be Alan Carr, or Keith Lemon because it would be so much fun!

The song that reminds me most of London is…
There are a few I could say but this was the first track that came into my head is an old jungle tune 'Euphony/Just For You London' by Bodysnatch (Big City, 1992). I was 15 when I first heard this and it used to blow the roof off.

When I’m in a bar I drink…
Vodka Lime and soda or a cocktail

My favourite pub/bar is…
I have a few locals in Islington and Shoreditch but I am always exploring. As a girl from the country I generally warm to ones that have that county feel in the Big City!

My favourite restaurant is…
My boyfriend's turned me onto Mexican cuisine so it has to be Mestizo in Central London. A fine dining 'la carte' menu and recently voted the Best Mexican restaurant in London! Im also a big fan of vegetarian food and of The Gate in Angel. If you're a vegetarian and you've not been there, try it as you wont be disappointed!

If I want a little peace and quiet when I’m in London I…
Just chill in the park or stay at home with my two new cats!

The best area of London is…
There are lots of lovely areas in London, it's what makes this city what it is. I love Islington in North London where I live.

If I could change one thing about London…
It would be the amount of homelessness that it has. Unfortunately there is a huge housing crisis and I wish that this was prioritised as it's very upsetting to see this. Also as a avid cyclist, I wish there was less bumps and holes on the roads and better cycle routes!

One thing everyone should do in London is…
Go shopping in Oxford St and visit the Queen's flower gardens in Regents Park.
