The sun is shining, the tennis is warming up and London’s favourite Dim Sum restaurant Ping Pong are serving up a storm in preparation for this years Wimbledon championship! Head mixologist, Daniele Ziaco’s latest creation sees Wimbledon’s most loved tradition strawberries and cream take centre court with Ice Vollies - an ice lolly with a mix!

Ice Vollies combine two of everyone’s favourite things: Ice-cream and alcohol to deliver an incredibly yummy recipe which sees nations favourite strawberries and cream combine with a generous hit of Finlandia Vodka to liven up the action!

The Ice Vollies will be available in all Ping Pong restaurants across London and will coincide with the Wimbledon championships being on the menu for two weeks only from Tuesday 30th July - Sunday 12th July. Ice Vollies are priced at just £2.50 for non-alcoholic and £3.50 for alcoholic lollies.

For those who will be as keen to recreate these as we are, here’s a step by step recipe and method on how:

Strawberries and Cream Ice Vollies:

Non-alcoholic:
220ml Blue Cup Milk
210gr of Low Fat Yogurt
100gr of Double cream
40gr of Vanilla sugar
3 – 4 Strawberries
Blend everything for 15 sec
Pour into the moulds
Let it freeze for at least 6 – 8 hours

Alcoholic:
200ml Blue Cup Milk
180gr of Low Fat Yogurt
90gr of Double cream
50gr of Vanilla sugar
3 – 4 Strawberries
60ml of Finlandia Vodka
Blend everything for 15 sec
Pour into the moulds
Let it freeze for at least 8 – 10 hours
