Harvest time is almost upon us and in honour of this bountiful time, Chelsea restaurant, Rabbit and their sister restaurant, The Shed, will be celebrating the land and offering diners a chance to sample some of Britain's finest produce.
Notting Hill and Chelsea residents are also being encouraged by the Gladwin brothers to be a Harvest Hero asking them to drop off their over harvested vegetables in return for a signature daily loosener cocktail when they come in to dine between 1st Sept and 31st October.
Rabbit will be decked out from top to bottom in seasonal produce, starting in September with artichokes and aubergines hanging from the roof and moving through to October and the start of autumn with pumpkins and spaghetti Marrows decorating the venue. September will also mark The Shed's third birthday so a double celebration is on the cards and the venue will be having a spruce up just before the big birthday.
Talented Head Chef and co-owner, Oliver Gladwin, has put a specially created Harvest menu together using the very finest in British ingredients. Dishes on the delicious menu include venison tartar with almonds and Sussex fig; spaghetti marrow with linseed and basil mayo and sweet spiced veg patch aubergine with mint curds and wet walnuts.
