Quinoa Burger @ Absurd Bird
The Portobello mushroom burger is out and isn’t quite loud enough for Absurd Bird… who said this place was all about the chicken? They also have a lovely vegetarian option too; in true Southern American Style they’ve masterfully created a delicious chilli and coriander quinoa burger. This delight comes with lettuce, tomato, and avocado puree with a delicious house spiced mayo for only £8. Perfect for vegetarians, or just to celebrate National Vegetarian week on the 16th – 22nd of May.

If you're bored of limp lettuce and tasteless tofu burgers, Las Iguanas's vibrant Beet and Black Bean Burger certainly packs a punch! A firm favourite with diners, both vegetarian and meat-loving, the 'burger' is served in a toasted sesame seed bun with melted emmental cheese and sliced beef tomato.

Top Dog
Well known for their delicious and indulgent hot dogs, Top Dog are pleased to say that they now offer a range of vegetarian and vegan dishes that won’t disappoint. Smoked tofu dogs are served with sautéed onions, house relishes and topped with pickles, chillis, slaws, avocado and all the rest. Or perhaps a spicy bean burger topped with vegan chilli, pickles and avocado is more your style. Head over to Soho to tuck into the meatiest meat free dishes London has to offer.

So if you’re going to do one thing this veggie week, flutter on down to the fun-loving Ma’Plucker and taste a veggie burger that will put all the other veggie burgers to shame (and you thought they only served chicken…)!
