“EOTHO was a brilliant scheme to get the ball rolling again for the hospitality industry. August was the first stepping stone to securing the future of the restaurant industry. Next was the time for offices to return in September. We were never planning to extend EOTHO beyond September as it goes against our brand offering, which is already great value for money however the post-COVID world is very different when it relates to hospitality as consumer confidence is extremely low and offices have been discouraged to come back. We want to keep encouraging people to come to eat in our restaurants, which we have made sure are safe for all. We are physically distanced, but more social than ever!” says Emilia’s founder Andrew Macleod.
