AMAJUBA LIKE DOVES WE RISE is a dramatisation of the stories of five black people growing up in the impoverished townships of apartheid South Africa. The actors bring their own experiences to life using a mixture of narration, dialogue, mime and song. They share their very personal experiences with each other and the audience. The stories present vivid images in both words and movement.
