The Mayor's Thames Festival - This Weekend!

A chance to see dance, music, stalls, art, sculpture, a giant children's treasure hunt, river races and fireworks all against the magnificent backdrop of the River Thames.

The Mayor’s Thames Festival is an annual free event that takes place on and around the River Thames, and this year it will extend from Westminster Bridge to Tower Bridge.

Highlights of the weekend will include: the Great Trafalgar River Race; music and dance performances; specially commissioned installations and events; a riverside bazaar; art and sculpture workshops; a giant treasure hunt and other children's activities.

The Festival raises awareness of our city’s greatest natural asset, the Thames, above all recognising the river as a powerful unifying symbol for the whole of London.
