Opened by Iqbal Wahhab (of Cinnamon Club fame) with a mission to vault British cooking back to its rightful place on the international stage, Roast has scoured the country locating top quality ingredients and has painstakingly researched both ancient and modern cooking techniques to showcase the very best of British food. Using frontage from the portico of the old Covent Garden flower market for the front of the building, the first floor offers diners spectacular views onto the market on one side and St. Paul's Cathedral on the other.
