Competition to create a 'Special' raises money for Centre Point

£1 from every Special to go to homeless charity

Hawaiian Restaurant Kua 'Aina recently held a competition to create a new Sandwich that would be sold as a 'Special' with £1 from every Sandwich sold, given to London based homeless charity Centre Point.

The winner of the competition was Maggie Van Dyke who originally from Hawaii knew a thing or two about creating an amazing burger with native twist. Her "Hula Burger" comes in the form of one of Kua 'Aina's amazing beef burgers grilled over lava rocks with home-made teriyaki sauce, topped with melted swiss cheese and grilled pineapple and served in a toasted golden seeded bun.

This special is being sold at the restaurant NOW and for the forthcoming 2 weeks. As you will see for the winning burger ingredients, never has there been a tastier way to support an excellent charity like centre point, an cause that all of those involved with Kua 'Aina really have strong feelings about, and the choice of charity was unanimous.

I hope this is of interest and should you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me.
