Paul A Young collaborates with Almeida's Alan Jones for Chocolate Week

Special chocolate pudding and choctail on the menu

Head chef Alan Jones will be joined by world renowned chocolatier Paul A Young at the delightful Almeida restaurant during this year’s Chocolate Week (8th-14th October). Having worked with the likes of Marco Pierre White at Quo Vadis and at Criterion, Paul began to specialise in chocolate and now owns three chocolate shops in London, the first having opened in Camden Passage just around the corner from Almeida in 2006. Now at the forefront of the British chocolate scene, Paul has created a special dish to be served on Alan’s dessert menu at Almeida during Chocolate Week: sticky chocolate fig pudding with warm salted caramel, milk ice cream with cocoa nibs, priced at £7.50. In addition, diners can enjoy an Almeida "‘choctail" throughout the week, which will be accompanied by a Paul A Young chocolate, chosen to compliment the drink.
