Come and celebrate with L’Absinthe on their fifth birthday

Special celebratory menu of restaurant's most popular dishes

Primrose Hill’s very own corner of France will be celebrating its fifth birthday on the 20th November. Known for offering a true taste of things Gallic, L’Absinthe restaurant & wine shop will be celebrating in style with a special set menu of classic bistro dishes. For more information and bookings telephone 020 7483 4848 or visit www.labsinthe.co.uk.

From the 20th to 25th November, diners can treat themselves to three courses of some of the most popular dishes that L’Absinthe has had on the menu since opening in 2007, all for just £22.50. To get diners in celebratory mood, a glass of Kir will be offered as a welcome drink on arrival.
Owner of L’Absinthe, JC Slowik, is also celebrating a milestone of his own this year, namely 30 years in the catering industry including stints with both Raymond Blanc and Marco Pierre White - and his passion and spirit has made L’Absinthe what it is today. Memorably described as a ‘total charmer’, JC is the consummate maître d’, always on hand with a warm welcome for guests.

JC and his team have developed their own programme of events at L’Absinthe, including Wine Lovers Tuesdays, when diners are encouraged to explore the wine list, which offers fine wines for a small extra charge rather than a hefty percentage mark-up; and Thursdays see the restaurant celebrate all things beef-based.

The popularity of L’Absinthe restaurant has resulted in recent expansion, with JC’s Napoleonic tendencies leading to him taking over the neighbouring property and launching The Spirit of L’Absinthe, a Café & Deli open all day for eat in and take away. The Spirit of L’Absinthe has just launched an events and catering arm, as well as opening a private dining room on-site, ideal for daytime meetings as well as lunches and dinners.
